(forget anybody who tries to sell you on the bluray. everything is moving to digi-download, bluray will be the shortest lived media format ever). |
Not gonna happen with 60GB per month caps. Sorry, legitimate digital download won't be big (at least here in Canada) until the caps increase, which I don't see happening anytime soon. |

But when you win, you really win (IF YOU KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING HERE HEH HEH)
My download speeds are twice that (and Easynews completely saturates my connection to boot).
If I want unlimited, it's another $25/mo. Plus really, how many people are on Teksavvy other than people who are "in the know?" It's not as if Joe Sixpack says "Hot damn I'm gonna go sign me up for some Teksavvy internet." Bell or Rogers for most people, sadly enough.
If I didn't care about ridiculous speeds, I'd go Teksavvy. |

Plus majority of the games I play aren't on the PC anyway. It makes no sense for me to spend $1,000 on a desktop to play games that don't really interest me.

you do realize you can emulate practically every single game that is on a console or arcade style on a pc????
and if you are really bitching about price.. that leads me to my other point that almost everything is pirated soo you don't need to spend your money
I dunno how long we can argue about this.. it really is a matter of preference and what you want from a game..
even ask Swamper.. isn't he a quake man? i know back then pc games were more popular then the consoles but now consoles have won the battle.. |

If you really think Blu-ray is a fad then clearly you are not an owner. Blu-ray isn't a fad. HD-DVD was a fad.
OK. I'm biased. I'm a PS3 owner. I find the navigation on XBOX live somewhat difficult. Maybe cause I'm not used to it maybe cause it just sucks. I do know that paying for online service......to the tune of 60-70 dollars a years is madness. Also every little accessory with Microsoft you must pay for. Battery charger, wireless internet adapter ect, ect.
Now as for games. There are always going to be exclusives. You just have to decide what you want more. In all honesty there are a few games for the XBOX 360 I would love to pick up, but there are great games for the PS3 as well. Grand Turismo 5, God of War, Little Big Planet, Resistance, Metal Gear Solid 4.
See the great thing is: Blu-rays have more memory so there is lots more room for developers to play with and add more content.
I was hesitant to get a PS3 but now I am so glad that I did.
And yes I am a fanboy!!! |
