And "Normal" dreams are simply your subconscious; it's what the reptilian part of your mind, evolved millions of years ago, is thinking below the rational mind you co-exist with during your waking life.
If you see illogic and disorder, that is the core of you; eventually you will find order in life, in whatever way you do, and you will find new and exciting communications through dream. |
LOL WHAT? The dreams you have are your cerebral cortex trying to make sense of random neural firing from the base of your brain. Yes there are basic underlying components of your brain akin to a reptile's, but I don't think it's responsible for the motives in your dreams. |

Your dreams are your subconscious.
One day a new consciousness "layer" will be built on top of your current rational frontal lobe state, and when you dream then it will be in the same way you think and go about waking life now. |

You've got lots of fun stuff to experiment with over the course of your lifetime(s). Enjoy it!
You'd be surprised what kind of crazy parameters your body places to augment the segments of yourself; google phantom limbs for a starter course on the mind and its ABCs of spatial-time positioning. |

Exactly. Why limit yourself in the experience of life? |

yes, i know all about phantom limbs (nurse mum, almost doctor sister).
that's completely different to actually being convinced that your consciousness can leave your body and travel around on holiday. i have no doubt that people think this is happening, but they have absolutely zero evidence with which to support their claims. |

haha. i think the observable 'truths' of existence are anything but, and i see no need to subscribe to unproven ideas to make life more interesting :) |

Yes I know your dreams are your subconscious. But your subconscious is not "the reptilian part of your brain thinking."
The basic hardwired parts of your brain are typically regulating your body's homeostatis, and telling you when it's imbalanced (i.e. need to breathe, drink, eat, sleep, etc.) The basic (akin to reptile) part of your brain, however, does not construct outlandish, strange, confusing, complex, story lines which encompass your dreams. That higher cognitive processing takes place in the human's more developed cerebral cortex, which is far more developed than any reptile's cerebral cortex. |
