Dude, organisation at bell center is always good, even when tiesto was there. But this year, it was bell center staff and security at the door, and i don't think they now how to deal with that kind of event. |
thats a very good point, very frustrating even for people behind the stage, can't imagine how it is for the crowd. |

they just keep the dj timeslots a surprise so that people show up earlier and have things go smoothly.
You can't admit, search, store coats of thousands in 2 hours without delays.
Anyone here took a plane recently?? it takes a while just to go thru roughly the same steps. |

whats the deal?? its called setting up a mood in the big bell center, make it believe its a smaller room... but idiots like you who don't get it must've just destroyed them. |
Lol no need to get that frustrated i was asking what was the deal with them cause i liked it when they were up and i thought it was cool i thought the organisation brought it down halfway through for some reason thats why i asked i hadnt thought that people would of brought it down by their own

sooo im just saying it could of been more innovative im not talking about capacity or anything even though u guys dont have has much money doesnt meen u cant innovate

But now we know... but this post by you is the first one i see giving answers to the people who wonder what goes on in organising those rave and answering our questions i havent been on this website for long i must say but still everytime i see someone ask questions it always seem to not be answered but when someone starts bitching sudenly someone decides to talk. If the organisers that have an acount on TA would be more responsive i feel like people would complain a lot less on these post. im not trying to be a jack ass im just trying to make the montreal scene better because it is important to me. |

There was a concert NYE event just before, so those guys had to remove their gear, then Resolution had to be setup, including all the lighting AV systems and sound checks... and the doors open at 9pm. Its really not that long considering the work that has to be done...and then you can't really set up something extravagent because you have to be able to take it down faster than it took to put it up... for the next show.
The Bell Center is a money printing machine, there's no dead time between shows, and its always booked either for Hockey or Concerts. It's the busiest arena/stadium in North America after the Madison Square Garden. |

I wanted to know if anyone can provide a playlist of the songs that Tiesto played in the first 3 hours.
I was in the front row when Tiesto came on and it was amazing. The sound and the vibe in the first row was incredible. I was chilling in the stands later on and the feeling was just not the same. However, there were a lot of young teens but I guess we are all there for the love of the music.
I can't believe he played Kanye West's Love Lockdown, I liked the variety. The best moment for me was when he played Carpe Noctum -wow what a song.
I wish he played Touch me though, I love that song, it is a classic.
Tiesto was sooo sexy, his smile is the cutest thing ever!
Somebody please post the names of the songs - a playlist pleaseeee! |

sorry to tell you this, but you are wrong. Big events like this, most people don't go there for music, they go there to get wasted. |

Ok I did not pay $140 just tp get wasted !!!! I came to see the craziest DJ TIESTO. I went to see a DJ that plays guaranteed amazing songs one after the other. People go to raves for the music, the music and the Dj is what hypes up the crowd and Tiesto is definitely a crowd pleaser!
Maybe you just don't like popping and that is why you say that, but that is good for you! |

loool the popping part was a little too much there buddy... you dont have to tell everybody you do that..this is a public forum afterall...
i agree with the rest though |

I didn't say that I pop, I just think that because this guy does not take anything and that is probably why he feels that way about raves, I just made reference to popping because that is what most people do at raves and that is not the only reason they go to raves. Popping is just an extra to make them last longer and feel the music harder. It is just a fact that people do that there, but the main reason so many thousands of people go to raves is for the music. Without good music and a good DJ, people will not pay a high price to party,
Bottom line, TIESTO is the man, from 1-6am he rocked the Bell Center especially at the beginning of his set. His showmanship is unbeattable and his great looks do not hurt either! |
