The FIA couldn't apply a fine like the McLaren one a few years ago because nobody has the $$$ anymore. Renault would have folded up shop and left the championship and that would be worse for the sport.
I think this was a very balanced and pragmatic solution that came about because of the efforts of Renault before the trial. Had they denied it and dragged things out in the courts, I think the result would have been a lot nastier. |

I am happy with the prospect of Canada returning to the calendar, I do agree however with Ecclestone being a diamond dick monger. |

it is good for the local economy for sure, but i think that every time someone gives in to ecclestone's demands it is ridiculous.
he tried to hold the gov hostage and it worked because they caved. Do not negociate with terrorists, especially considering the there were not a million other cities able to have a race that were banging on his door.
my tax money is better spent elsewhere. :mad: |

it was a nice race but vettel and barichello messed up bad.. this will give us a less atractive end of the season sadly..
hope dies last!
i think button will get the title, he deserves it, so does barichello and vettel, but i don't want the boring dominator to win:whip: |
