Manchester City (Not to get confused with current England, European & World champions, Manchester United) are pretty much a 'nobody' team - currently hovering a mere 2 points above the relegation zone of the English Premier League.
Manchester City were bought by the Abu Dhabi United Group, owned by Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His worth is to be around the region of well over £33 billon since his family assets stretch to a combined £322 billion (he's a member of the Abu Dhabi Royal Family). This made Manchester City the worlds richest football club.
On transfer deadline day last year (September 1st), Manchester City pulled off a huge coup, by beating Chelsea to the signing of Real Madrid star Robinho - for a British transfer record fee of £32.5m
In summary, Manchester City are a nobody team, bought by a rich bloke, now trying to pay stupid, over-the-top prices for the worlds best footballers. |

What's with all the sudden hate for Kaka? The guy is pretty darn good, and is among the best players in the world. I really don't think Fernando Torres can get even close to the class and technique of Kaka. |

Kaka showed class 2 years ago? Now he is just an average joe with players much better than he is.
I will say having kaka on any team cant hurt, but 100 million for this guy? please. |

Messi is the bets player in the world right now - by some distance as well. The little wizard shall dominate world football for the next 5-10 years.
As for the kaka transfer - i'd quite like it to go thru, Ac Milan could build a full new team with the cash from the transfer plus the fact they've got gourcuff to come back from a loan deal at bordeaux and he is in some sensational form.. |
