Arjen Robben better than Kaka? don't be so ing silly

So funny to see people so passionately expunging their opinions on a topic of which they know about zero point all and pulling near enough quotes straight off the net lol :p

This isn't about a single player it is about putting Man City on the map, making a point, letting the world take notice. It has nothing to do with football.

exactly
the signing thats going to do most for them is the Nigel De Jong transfer if it goes through

Hmm you could be right given that Man City have no problem scoring but have a defence.....

Id take robben with his speed and amazing shot over kaka with just an amazing shot.

Would have Kaka over Robben but it's comparing apples and oranges.

Kaka has deceptive pace and he's a much more intelligent player than robben, he's about as complete a player as you'll see. He's not been at the top of his game since winning world poty but that may be down to the weight of expectation on in him at Milan and the fact the majority of players in the first team are now over 30.

I'd probably still have him in my team, just personal preference.

kaka is the fourth best on current form behind Messi who is well out infront at number 1, Ronaldo at number 2 however he's not playing well this last few months and united should've sold him to Madrid and replaced him, and David Villa in 3rd who is the best finisher in the world currently. Torres is not far behind kaka but any of those 5 would get into any team in world football

Yup, pretty much. Agreed.

Superb player, but not worth the amount of dosh City are willing to throw at him. It's a statement of intent though to the rest of the world by the club.

it may seem like a lot of money but citys owners need to have a winning turnover within a couple of years. they need champions league money to balance the books and signing players like robinho & kaka will go some way towards doing that. City have a reasonable squad, and were weakest at left back which they strengthened, an out & out striker to play robinho off and a world class playmaker, of which kaka fits. What is good is that there's some good young players there who ought to move to other clubs, such as mine, to have a good career, sturridge, evans, onouha etc would be great signings for any of us and if they have realistic ambitions to play 30+ games a season they'll need to move.

One of my personal favs is Raul, getting on a bit. But what a ing player.

he's amazing and is very close to the next guy in the record list. However I think he'll be lucky to do more than one season after this which might hinder his overall progress. Leaving him out of internationals was perfect though for him, madrid and spain.
