You need a license to drive a car.
Do you have a gun license? |

You need a background check to get a gun. Did you have a background check when you got your car? |

I'm sure they checked to see if I was eligible to to have a drivers license. They also checked to make sure I could drive.
Did they check to see if you could shoot a gun in a safe manner? Something as simple as an eyesight exam, for example? |

I'm sure they did not call the FBI to verify if you were able to drive, which by federal law is what any firearm dealer has to do.
By the way, yes you can buy a car with no license. As long as licensed driver is with you and the car is insured by the time you leave the lot. Which is unlike buying a gun. Only the person getting the background check is the only person allowed to buy a gun. |

Sure. I was in the military so i am trained with weapons. I currently work with the federal government. All my friends work either the police department, Border Patrol, or some other federal agency. They all have their own personal weapons. Everybody enjoys shooting at targets, so i got into it. |
