My only complaints for last night were that squillace had a few moments where I felt like I didn't know what to do, or how to dance, the other, visuals. Most people wouldn't give a and I'm probably the only one who thinks this, but man I was sick of seeing the rabbits from groove armada's music video for "get down" after 5 minutes, it mustve been on for what felt like a half hour. Really though, only minor complaints on what was otherwise a great night (the short time I was there)

Nice seeing/meeting everyone that I did !! Missed you guys !

Even though i enjoyed his set a lot, i had a few issues with it as well. His builds ups were kinda half assed. He'd build you up, but then take it right back down again instead of dropping into a sick bassline....or something. There were times i was getting hyped to go nuts, and then i was just left standing there wondering what happened...lol. but again, he was still the highlight of my night from what i saw, the short time i was there as well.

Ali didn't play a single track after squillace, his laptop never touched the table, it was in the hands of that other sound crew Guy the whole time, then next thing you know, fanciulli plugs in and starts playing, while dubfire ducked off to who knows where.

wait... what? so Dubfire was never on???? i'm confused.. it must have been Fanciulli that i wasn't feeling then after Squillace? At that point i wasn't even paying attention to the booth, i as talking to ppl. I just remember seeing Dubfire in the booth looking like he was getting ready to go on, and then i left for a bit, came back and assumed he was the one on the decks. And i didn't like what i was hearing and left.

Just because it's not a super duper epic trance-like breakdown that wouldn't make his style or technical ability "half assed"... I'm pretty confident that the imploding vs. exploding breakdown effect is what he was going for... (re: techno vs. trance breakdowns)

u know i am in no way comparing it to trance build-ups....come on, i know the diff. BUT, when i'm left standing there waiting for something to happen for an EXTENDED amount of time....there's a problem. they just dragged a little is what i should have said.

if you think $200 is a lot to spend in a weekend then you really dont want to know how much i've spent since wednesday night. lets just say it is more than triple what you spent.
