i hope this aspect of me doesn't change, which it feasibly could if i actually witnessed the child birth, but the fact that my wife's womb held my child and the whole miracle aspect of it would make me want to bang her even more...obviously won't be as tight maybe but there are surgical solutions to that :p lol j/k |
advise: do you have to see the full gore?? you can always just stick by her side and avoid those mental images...
And the first 6 weeks, you can forget about any intimacy, for her it's like having periods for that long (plus stitches). |

I think thats the worst part of having kids... having to deal with all the post-birth stuff and pain plus having to take care of a newborn.
Plus I am sure god will punish me with a colic baby since I was one for my first year of life. |

colic are unavoidable, every day at 8pm, my daughter starts having colic, its like magic because its always at the same time hehehe...
but seriously, there's a natural medecine to help with this and its seems to be working for the last days. |

Malek, had no idea that you guys have kids already. Congratulations!!
I got married this September, me and my wife are planning to have kids, but we are not rushing with that. We still want to travel, enjoy our life for few years. But I think three years down the road or so we will have a kid ;)
On the side note, this thread shows very well why Canada tries to attract more and more immigrants. Because all the selfish brats who live here just don't want to have kids:p This is also the story with many developed countries. Makes you think what kind of demographic situation we will have in the world 50 years from now.
Overpopulation? Give me a break : ) That is the problem in Africa, not here. There is so much unused land in Canada, we have 35 million population that is spread across the border with US. |

Hey congratulations.
I remember 7 weeks... that's when my daughter started sleeping through the night... everything got better after that! |

...and you're still awake and able to function! very nice!
Hence what I said before, it's a good thing if you are a little younger when you have a newborn.
But seriously my friend, welcome to the "Parent Club"!
:gsmile:
A daughter! Just you wait till the boys start knocking at your door, have the shotgun ready. :clown: |

IF I had my own kids, I would definitely want my husband to stay at the top half of the birth! |
absolutely. although if I ever had kids I'd request a c-section so it wouldn't matter anyways. |

that's what I'm thinking too
the C section scars are much lower and smaller these days (so I hear)
so why go through all the stretching and tearing (ouch!)? |
