I'd say take this as a positive step like my friend did. A buddy of mine entered club246 dj competitions twice...both times he didn't win, when in one instance he definitly should have won. Instead of ranting on an internet forum, he said " those rigged popularity contests" and focused his efforts on expanding his horizons started producing. yea, a number of other ppl I know went and did the same thing.... Now Maxx plays our tracks, and we make cash off his SOCAN fees. Tables turned. end of story.
I personally think it's an insult (not to mention money grab) to hold a DJ competition that has the DJs "pay to play". That's just ed.
And yes it's true.. anything other than Maxx's house style will lose the competition.:rolleyes: |
