+1 to that. Imagine working a job where if you up.. people die. Now that is something to stress about. |
Ugh... tell me about it. I have to have $10 million worth of liability isurance plus errors and omissions insurance for what I do, and the first time I overlook something and it results in someone's health being compromised (and a nice fat lawsuit coming my way), peace-out insurance coverage. |

Run an environmental engineering consulting business... we do building assessments for chemical and biological contamination, and write protocol based on what we find to eradicate whatever is there. It's sensitive because building owners/managers are personally responsible for the health and safety of their occupants or employees, or if it's a school or hospital, you're talking about extra sensitive . If we make a mistake and clear a building that isn't really clear, or don't write a proper protocol that leads to continued health problems for people, we are toast. |

| I hate working with people. They're just not as good as I am. |

:haha: I feel the same way. I could hire some people and take on more business, but I'm afraid I'll just be wasting my time trying to teach them how to do what took me a long time to get a firm grasp of, and do it exactly how I want them to. |

Savor your failures.
These days it seems as though just about everything goes according to plan. It's kind of boring to be honest; success ain't all it's cracked up to be. I'd like to fail more personally. It'd be a great opportunity to learn something new whilst providing some drama to spice things up.
I'd like to strech myself a little more in areas I'm less comfortable, but I just don't have the time right now. Maybe this summer can be the summer of fail. That sounds interesting. |

...and in Canada, depending on the type of insurance policy you have, banks may or may not even accept your environmental assesments when financing real estate. |
