Yes they do, they call them "Quran learning centers". But, instead of real guns and bombs, they order tons of fertilizer to explode in downtown Toronto when they're done training with their paintball guns in the forest. |
come on dude I think you are being WAY too paranoid here. |

I no longer consider 9/11 a primary reason why I think Canada should be involved in Afghanistan. I think Canada should be involved in Afghanistan because that country needs help against evil people.
It'll be many years before Afghanistan can take care of itself. But I think if that young girl in rural Afghanistan be able to go to school, get treatment at hospitals and be able to speak her mind without fear of retribution, and one day, be able to make her own decisions, all this sacrifice will be worth it. |
Awwww
Canada should mind it's own business and not try to "save the world" from evil doers for the greater good of mankind. That's such a blind fantasy it's sickening. All they're doing digging themselves into a deeper hole until finally, they'll pull out, and nothing will be solved. |

So we're being "charitable" by going into Afghanistan with our freedom flags and tanks? |

yeah. because those Taliban types got guns and , and they don't seem to want to listen to reason
you can't create a condition for a country to rebuild without being able to have a secure environment |

That country has been in war more or less for the last 100 years. You really think NATO or even the U.S can win this war?The British couldnt do it, the Russians couldnt do it. Shouldnt we learn from our past? I dont even know the cause of our forces being there anymore. |

Except this time, Canadians (and the Yanks and the other nations in this) are in Afghanistan by the invitation of Afghan govt with strong UN resolutions (for what it's worth)
Sure, there is a strong, but minority that oppose what's going on in Afghanistan, but NATO is not in Afghanistan to conquer the nation, but to help out the people which is a key difference.
The victory for NATO here is when the Afghan govt can provide and protect its own people. We're merely there to help them do this. No 'military' solution will win the war in Afghanistan |
