I'm going to give Kermit the benefit of the doubt here. Forget about the insecure stuff for a minute. That's just a small piece of the problem if that's an underlying issue. As a guy, I would have to say it's more of a matter of respect. For guys, being respected by your woman is as important as being loved... and it's blatantly disrespectful for a girlfriend to acquire new "guy friends" while in a committed relationship, and spend time with them away from her boyfriend. It's a sign of immaturity and attention seeking behavior on her part, and I think Kermit is not out of line being upset about it.
