honestly, i'd be interested to see a study:
have two dudes raise a kid that is not of their own descent (but raised from birth).
have another two dudes raise a kid that is from one of their sperm.
have another two dudes raise two kids, one from each of their sperm.
and see what happens over an 18 year period.
(likewise for ladies) |

Sexual orientation not affected by any variable difference in your study. Who raises who, whose sperm comes from who... it doesn't make a difference. It'll be the same outcome as if you watched two heterosexual parents raise a child. |

my sister went through two divorces and raised four kids on her own. she never really had any relationship with her father, he was an alcoholic restaurant owner from portland, oregon; who also happened to hit and abuse my mom. she lived with him for about six years - it was during the last months of her relationship that things got ugly. She decided to run away from the house (and country) vowing never to return until both my sister and I were old enough.
My sister had many many problems while growing up, most of them being identity problems (not knowing most of her father's family except for her grandmother), and my mother was also studying in washington d.c while my sister was raised by my grandmother and grandfather (mother's side)
my parents never got married (my mother never really divorced her first husband), and my dad had many affairs throughout his relationship with mom. i don't know if i turned out good or not; only time will tell...
what if two homosexual men would've raised my four nephews and nieces? what if two homosexual men would've raised my sister? what if two homosexual would have raised me? no one knows the outcome of that... |

You know. to tell you the truth, here in Ukraine the situation with homophobia is pretty bad. Nevertheless, besides accepting homosexuality I have frequently advocated for the rights and freedoms of homosexuals in relevant discussions and disputes, clearly understanding that homosexuality should not be treated (and fought) like a disease, a mental illness (you all know that homosexuality has been recalled from APA and UN lists of mental illnesses). But it's hard to stay so liberal-minded when fags try to deform the meaning of a family. Yes! A family is a mother and a father (two obligatory role models with natural sexual orientation). You can call me conservative in this regard. Conservative thinking is not always a negative thing, as a lot of people might think in the Western society. You can't just change things for the sake of change, for the sake of novelty and freshness. But that's just my opinion. And all opinions are equal. Now stop calling me a homophobe, you thickheads. ;) |

Evolutionary speaking yes homosexuality is a dead end. So is the inability to make children an evolutionary dead end. Plenty of straight people can't produce children.
