No, it is just like Russians can tell someone else is Russian without them opening their mouth or saying their last name. |

yea actually my boyfriend points out french canadians all the time, it's so ing funny because they look like regular ol' white american people and he's like, "no they're canadian" and then sure enough we pass by them and they're babbling away in french and i'm like "wtf how can you tell!" |

I think this is a case with most cultures. Its like you don't know what it is, but you can tell if the other person is the same nationality as you. I can pretty much always tell a Croatian or Serb. I can't say its an actual feature or something, but just an over all look/feel.
its weird but its on point 90% of the time.

yea to be honest, i really thought about it right now and i can totally see what you mean. i feel confident that if i were to go to germany or something, i would totally be able to spot an american.
