I'm sorry, but I smoke everywhere - and get away with it. I'm not going to stop or care.. sorry for the inconvenience.
[edit: though it is no longer winter so I will go outside and refuse to smoke indoors any longer.. except here in florida.. where its still legal.] |

You smell. No, seriously, next time bring a suitcase full of breath mints and air freshener with you. I have to continue on with this angry rant because the whole night she annoyed me.
Its not just that she smoked in a club (im use to that) but she smokes in the DJ booth waving her cigarette around. It just angered me that she thinks that because she is a booth whore that she is 'important' enough to do like that. But once again its the bouncers I hate - they should have kicked her out for life.
These are probably some of the meanest things I have said on TA but last night was just too much for me. I think crowding the DJ is so disrespect to them and the other patrons. I came there to see them spin and play good music not to sit and watch you try to talk to them. I dont care if you are Best Friends For Life... do what everyone else does, go up say hi, give a hug and then go dance your ass off on the DANCE FLOOR (crazy concept here). And IF you do have the desire to look and feel that important - or just desire that bit of extra space, dance to the back of the booth, not up against the DJ all night - let the man do is ing job.
I dont care if you think the DJs dont mind... everyone in the club thinks youre annoying.

I'm totally with you on the smoking part, Tara (and we don't agree much these days;))
as an occasional smoker myself, I hate when people light up in clubs - never mind the stench, it makes breathing and subsequently dancing harder.. it's dangerous because people tend to hold their cigs low, so they burn hands/clothes/bags
I will never forget when one time in the Guv I pointed out a smoker to one of the bouncers and he gave me a "so?" look :rolleyes: |
