I thought you knew this about me, Jenny. Unless I am completely wrong and that post wasn't directed at me....

I believe this about you, but you have to acknowledge that there are people out there as Jenny described. I have known people who have gone through phases of bursting with positivity....I guess things were going well in their lives and it was time to shout from the rooftops about it. It gets obnoxious - like "my life is free of problems and is so much happier than yours". It is one thing to encourage taking things in stride and seeing the best in everything, but some people take it too far, and it comes off even more annoying than being a big downer all the time. Real life is somewhere in between.

Absolutely. Fake positivity is far worse than big fat negativity but I like to think I can spot it a mile away.

And I have my negative times too, goodness knows I am living through a living hell right now but that doesn't stop me being positive by nature. I just allow my sadness to take it's course and try not to take it out on some poor, unsuspecting board-dweller.

And I will always continue to be opinionated and stand up for what I think is right; that, too, is my nature.

What a delight getting caught up on this thread. Especially when I read the posts backwards and I still don't have the settings at 40 posts per page (I'm such a n00b) :D

there is a difference between being nice and respectful of people; and being a PLUR-retarded-overly-obnoxious-positive-person. I prefer being pleasant to someone until I find a reason to not like them. Personally I dont see a reason to be rude to anyone unless necessary, but when it does become necessary, its not a good idea to cross my path.

as per the thread, I was merely complaining that calling each other out and putting out bizniz on a trance forum is lame as hell. Not only is it unimportant, but tells me that people cant even handle their bizniz in an appropriate way. seriously people, we are GROWN ASS ADULTS. Say to each other's face and spare us the **unimportant** drama. no one gives a about you and your quarrels about smiley faces/ex-boyfriends/early party reviews/dj-dick-sucking, etc.

Okay...I want to know which DJs are getting their dicks sucked and who the dick suckers are......this is important information.
:D
