So I was just reading the book thread and I came accross something interesting, Rachel.

You'll recall earlier when I said

Just by the way you talk and the fact that you can say something as meaningless as "Be the best person you can be. Always," and expect to be taken seriously; I am almost certain that you read or have read self-help books.

Honestly, get rid of your hallmark greeting card and/or self-help book quotes, like the one in your signature--they are disingenuous and purposeless--at least to the reasonable mind.

I've never read a self-help book in my life. Carry on with your psycho-analysis, you're obviously very accurate :wtf:

But when MK brings up the book "A New Earth Awakening to Your Life's Purpose" you say

MK - I have a new earth, I think you will enjoy it

:haha:

Oh the audacity--you can't even be honest about being the person you are--which is my point exactly. Quick, go buy another self-help book and allow it to dictate the appropriate response.

You sound upset--maybe you should read the book, and 'awaken to your life's purpose' as well. :gsmile:

Lol you truly are pathetic.

I said I HAVE IT - I was offering to give it to her. It was given to me as a birthday gift. I read the first chapter and felt that it was condescending as I had already taken myself down that path so I stopped reading it.

I recommended it to MK as many people I know HAVE read it and taken direction from it.

Get over yourself, buddy, you really are a prize c*nt.

I have NEVER read a self-help book in my life. Except if you count Allan Carr's STOP SMOKING NOW.

Now go and ing die somewhere, you evil piece of .

Hey now! that's not very 'New Earthy' like!

Well, at least you have your next birthday to look forward to--your friends seem to know what you're into--might I recommend

I have faith in you Rachel. Become a better you, TODAY :gsmile:

P.S. LOL what does it mean when your friends buy you SELF HELP books for your birthday? :haha:

It was bought for me by a COLLEAGUE. One that had told me about the book to which I had politely nodded. She took that as a sign to purchase it for me.

My friends know that I don't need such guidance as they come to ME for advice.

You're tiring me. Really. My life has changed considerably over the past 2 months and quite honestly, the very last thing I need is some jumped up little prick like you, gouding me at all opportunities.

You obviosuly have some schoolboy crush to keep this going. You won't find inconsistencies with me. Who am I as a person is well developed and constantly improved with life experiences and the mistakes I make.

Through it all, I still strive to be the best person I can be. Always.

Leave me alone.

Dude, seriously what's your problem? You're the one that clearly needs a self-help book telling you how to be a better person, b/c you're obviously not a very good one.

Awesome.

Please keep posting your hallmark greeting card quotes; they're so nauseatingly delicious.
