Obviously they are useful if you have a bacterial infection. If you've got strep or meningitis or something then you definitely should be on antibiotics.
It's as I said before - antibiotics just can't kill viruses because viruses aren't alive. |

| I'm four days into this flu bull here in LA and it sucks. will it kill me, no. but yes it sucks in a major sucking way. I've never thrown up this much in my life even after a three day drinking binge in Rome a few years back. But it's really the dizzyness that is kicking my ass. I can't fricken walk more than two step without running into a wall or falling over. you do not want this but unless you're old or an infant I don't think you'll die. |

we have people with colds in the office and noone is worried
though, 2 weeks ago one of the guys stayed home for 2 days because his son's school had a confirmed case of the flu |
