| I think the best thing you can do for kids is to take them outside and show them the world. Go camping with them. Teach them a sport. Feed their imagination by showing them the beauty of the world. |

Totally agree here. All the money in the world can never displace the experience of traveling and experiencing other cultures. |

| Teach them to run, teach them to fight, teach them to shoot, teach them to survive in the wilderness and make it out safely. Try to teach them how to love. |

there isn't a day that goes by that i don't think about how much i appreciate what my dad exposed me to growing up.
hiking mt. fugi in japan during a typhoon when i was 15 was one of them lol
taking me up for the airplane rides on his sky diving trips too. that was cool just watching all of them jump out of the plane. i was like 13 or so for that.
god i would never go sky diving now. i'm such a wimp when it comes to that lol |

i dont ing think so.
i can just imagine me panicking on the way down and forgetting which strings to pull. that's something i would do. lol
my dad is a certified sky diver and scuba diver. i mean he has made over 100 jumps. he knows how to do all that where you hold hands with a circle of them in the air, etc...
he's also a retired 3rd degree black belt in karate. god my dad is such a badass lol |

You realize that you have to jump tandem (strapped to someone certified and all that ) before you can jump on your own? You don't have to worry about pulling the strings. This is to acclimate you to jumping. |

I have no nieces and nephews of my own, but I acquired three sassy little ones through my bf.
His two nieces have amazing mothers who do all kinds of awesome things with them.
His cousin from Scotland has a little 2-year-old monster and i love him to death. His mother is fat and lazy (though loving) and doesn't care much about her son's mental or physical development. He's 2 and doesn't speak at all yet.
So whenever they come down here, my bf and I always take him to the zoo and out to the park and do puzzles with him and try to get him to learn new words because all he knows is "GAAA!!" and "MIIIINE" |
