Why wouldn't it be cool if some people think that TOTA is a place where some of us hang out? What if some of us do hang out there? And who cares if we don't, and people think we do? That's like me saying "OMG you don't hang out at the Guvernment? But they play trance!"
And what if drama happens? Okay...that just makes even less sense. What happens if a REAL TOTA opened that place and some drama happens? Wouldn't that be even worse b/c they would be 100% associated with this site, rather than only potentially being associated with this site b/c lurkers call it out.
Pat your argument is honestly ridiculous. If you're worried about something maybe happen down the road at a TOTA lounge that has nothing to do with Tranceaddict, but may be associated with us b/c a lurker says it does, you've got another thing coming. There's a lot more things on this forum that you should be more considered about lurkers seeing (i.e. people openly talking about their drug ues - which lurkers will, and have, associated with the EDM scene) |

To be blunt...I don't give a care about this lounge.
I'm only thinking long term...there are somethings that TOTA's name has been attached to and I just think that it is probably better if the name were patented. I feel TOTA should of been patented a long time ago. Ultimately it's up to the powers that be to decide that.
As for you not understanding....weren't you doing Law? What happened? I'm surprised at how you aren't on this thing from a legal standpoint. |

Could you give examples of these things that TOTA's name has been attached to? And long-term or not, I really think you're putting too much emphasis on bad things that could happen at this place that could be associated with this site. There are plenty of companies, organizations etc. that have the same name and if one of them has something bad happen to it, the other company is not automatically assumed to be linked to it.
Also, please explain to me how law has anything to do with this, and why me being in law school is a factor at all. |
