They essentially have nothing in the first place, if you kick their crutches out from under them it'll probably be amusing for awhile as they hang themselves out to die. But you will get resentment for it and they're generally not worth anything as people, so about the worst you have to contend with is some kind of aggression directed at yourself. |

exactly! haha I was about to say something similar when I read your post. I can think of a few people I knew growing up, and one or 2 now who totally believe their lies... even when it becomes so obvious to me that what they are babbling about can't possibly be true, I can tell they truly have convinced themselves they're being honest. Futility indeed, Renzo. |

| just be honest about your curiosity. if they bring up a story, let them know it seems like bull. there's nothing wrong with wanting sense out of a story. |
