Plenty of people download mixes from here.
If you actually hung out here and contributed you would have realised that. Your mixes are getting very few downloads and/or little feedback for this reason. |

I like to indulge ( DL) ...mind you it would be good to see more feed-back given to contributers by those who do DL. Big up from me people , your time and endeavor is greatly appreciated.

I don't think very many people take this forum seriously. There are certain cliques of people that listen to each others mixes and comment them and then the rest of the stuff gets no attention.
It doesn't bother me, I make music for myself, and posting it just gives other people the opportunity to listen to it as well. If they don't listen to your mixes, who cares. Doesn't mean anything. Keep posting mixes eventually your name will pop up enough and you'll start to garner a following.
This is like high school, so hilarious haha. |

Yes and no. When someone downloads your mix and leaves a comment, it's only natural that you feel the need to return the favour. It's good manners, not a 'clique'.
On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised when one of my mixes received 100+ downloads; I would have been happy with 10! Not a great percentage of downloaders leave comments, but that doesn't mean there aren't un-registered users who are still enjoying your mix, or registered users who forgot or can't be bothered to comment. |

Also, this thread is now a petition for Sushipunk to make a mix.
I asked him a few weeks ago and he said no, the big poof. No one on tranceaddict downloads, hosts and generally supports people's mixes more than Sushi, and he seems to have an appreciation for a lot of genres. I would love to hear what such a man could produce... |

yes and no
there are certain people that does have a following, but those people do give feedback to other people's mixes.
more you leave feedback on my stuff, more i'm inclined to leave feedback on your stuff
certainly there are a lot of lurkers who just download, but don't leave a feedback |

the first few mixes on here, i got barely any hits.
i did (not so much anymore due to time constraints) review a lot of other mixes, which probably helped me get more hits. I am also TA famous so you:p
but seriously, those that get no replies, usually do not reply themselves. I have gotten negative feedback too (which is the best kind imo)...you want people to contribute to you, you contribute to them. It does not mean they will like what you do, but at least they will listen, which is the most important thing. |
