Still, you have to compare apples to apples for prices. Presales: Avalon $15, Vanguard $10, Circus $10. Door: Avalon $35 (at 2am) Vanguard and Circus $25 (IIRC). Parking: Avalon $10 on Argyle, Vanguard $10 next to Henry Fonda, Circus $10. If these are full, there is more parking near Avalon and Vanguard; none for Circus.
The sound was loud this past Saturday; I went to Avalon after Circus and it was definitely not as loud. You also have to factor in the frequencies. Avalon peaks are very deep bass; Circus at more audible frequencies. Avalon carpet dampens resonances; Circus all wood floor amplifies them.
I don't want to sound complaining; we all give feedback because we like Circus and want to see it get as good as it was during the Spundae days. |

Good point. It is the high pitched sounds that bother me, not the bass. |

i was there for the first time on saturday, it was freaking fun.
got to meet sweetcandy girl and greg as well (im the tall dude that came up to you guys)
ill try to make it out for thrillseekers.
i paid 10 pre-sale for tickets and 10 for parking, that's a-ok with me! |

Dear Circus Customer,
I am so sad that there were only a few people had good comments about the night. We, at Circus go beyond customer service for our customer, this is the reason why we have been in the business for 34 years. I truly understand the problems of the night but , Mello Yellow tried there best to please every one as much as possibly. They are the new promoter that spent 24 hours putting up the stage and lighting for trance addicts customers.
No body ever mention how great is was to park for free before 11pm for the past 6 months. No body mention how great it was for the club to let you in free, plus a free drink for the past couple of months. I would like to Thank you to our loyal customers and we will try to improve with sound and djs. Our management and staff will always try our best to please the customer. Customer are always first but I realize we can not please every one, but only focus on the few that had a great time. I will now talk about all the issues.
Here is what you didn't understand about the night, that i will try clear up?
We design some flyers with the free passes three weeks before the event, But once the promoter buys out the night, we can only validate only the flyers that was pass out in the previous weeks. Some customers went and scan the flyers, and email it to there friends. Those flyer can not be validate, because we did not send it out the email blast
1. Parking. I would to thank the parking owners to go along with the marketing we had for the past 6 months of free parking. Honestly they didn't have to agree to it. Yes, there are a lot of parking space outside the club that could have been used. But I guess if you advertise it you should validate it. So I do apologize for the misunderstanding about the parking but the email we sent out there was no parking on it or free admission and Drink)
2. Door admission, We let about 140 people come in free before 10:30pm to honor the flyer that was pass out at the club past weeks.the rest paid $15 Or $20.( As you know you will never pay that price for Andy Moor at any Club)
3. Sound. When the sound wasnt loud enough, everyone thought our sound system was cheap. But we in fact have a better sound system than most clubs. But we are still working on the sound to make sure it is the best ever for all trance addicts and futrue customers.
4. Production ( I didnt see any one write about how they love the new setup, which allows them to dance and be very comfortable instead of being like pigs in a barn, not to mention how they love the lights, lasers light,and confetti show.
5. Stop talking about Giant and Spundae they are not at Circus any more. I hope that circus never become Spundae or Giant. But, instead set a new Legacy of LOVE DANCE MUSIC, lovers.... Circus should find it own identity. That is our goal.
6. Thank you for some of the nice comments. For those Customer that is why every Saturday we tried our best to be better. It motivated us to become better because we know you love it......
7. Oh by the way we have a great dj line up. John Askew, Thrillseeker, Jaytech, Alya & Fila, Marco V, Darude, George Acosta, Daniel Kandi, in the next 2 months.... wowoowowow wait until you see the setup for Thrillseeker dj stage...
