I guess only 12 eps instead of 20 or 22 ensures greater quality in the eps that air? (and thus also the reason we love the programme so much? ;)) |

I'd rather have a shorter season with longer episodes that are quality, than a longer season with shorter episodes.
But, sucks that it's going to end :( already looking forward to Season 3.
Started to read the 1st book the other day - it's an enjoyable read, but at the same time it feels a bit 'trashy'. I'll probably keep reading the series for awhile - curious to see how things play out in the later books once they start to deviate from the show.
Right now the 1st book is very close to the TV show, but it is interesting to get another perspective on things that they cant convey as well on the screen. Now and then how Sookie acts in the show used to bother me, but after reading the book I sort of 'get' why she acts the way she does more now, and I don't find it quite as bothersome. |

well i phoned up HBO and let them know i wouldnt be able to watch it, so they changed it for me... im kind of a big deal like that |
