| Had a lot of fun wed night. Glad we went. Tiesto played a solid set (so much better than what we got in Ibiza). Looked like he was genuinly having fun to. Some amazing visuals and lighting as you would expect at a Tiesto show. Got there about 9:30 and walked straight in. No line at all! Insomniac did a nice job with the setup. Liked the outdoor area. Remaining nights should be a good time. |

I thought Tiesto's performance was good. Not great, but good. There were times when it was boring as hell. It seemed like the only time the crowd got crazy WAS when he dropped his old school tracks. The new stuff wasn't bad, but it just wasn't phenomenal. Nothing beats his Sunday performance at Avalon a few years ago.
Whatever you do.. don't order shots at the bar. My friend bought me a shot of Jack and literally it was like a 1/4 of a regular shot and it was $10.
AND YES, it will get hot inside. It wasn't superhot but for the amount of people there, it was really warm. I can only imagine the sweating people will be doing Friday and Saturday.
I saw people parking at the Superior Supermarket parking lot.
$20 for the inside lot parking.
Oh and if you enjoyed those zigzagging lines at Monster Massive before security check, you'll enjoy it for Tiesto too! |

Pretty good night over all IMO.
I personally thought Dada Life did a really good job. I don't think they should have opened though. Just a lil too hard and grungy to be opening for anybody, but this subject has been touched many times before so I'll leave it at that.
Tiesto played a lot of his new songs in the very beginning and his mixing was horrible for the first 4 songs and then it seemed like he started to warm up. Track of the night for me was when he played "Feel it in my Bones" and they had the video on the display matching the vocals of the track. Pretty Awesome!! Also he started to mellow out for a few tracks and played "Madras" which was an incredible song to through in the middle of his set.
Started getting a lil tired around 12 45 so I took off and apparently the Shrine is not the only place with the 12 am Liquor License deal. Myself and some friends went to a 7 11 downtown and the doors to the beer were locked and when they told us there license was only till 12 people started having a fit. Had to get out of there fast. lol. |

yep, when i went there was nooo line at all, i was telling my friend there is probably somebody far far away looking at us thru binoculars and laughing, lol.
felt like a mouse in a maze. |

Funny. I was in this line around 9:30 and an older lady that was walking slower delayed the line enough so that we walk at a normal pace and not run.
I can't say I felt hot inside. Didn't even sweat much when I was dancing.
Also, the sound was good, especially at the front. Upstairs there was definitely too much reverb from the building.
I am thinking of going again. Should I go tonight or tomorrow night? |

I didn't mind the zigzagging at MM. I hated how it came to a standstill 2/3 the way in. |

| Just a heads up: All the bathrooms are out side and by 1 or 2 they where pretty bad! All most all the girls bath rooms had no TP. So I took some from a bathroom that had it and put it in my purse. Also the handicap bathrooms where the nicest. They had seat covers and a hand sanitizer on the wall. |

| Ah, im so excited!!! I was at Monster Massive two weeks ago and I cant wait to see tiesto. I hope he plays some of his good old songs. Havnt heard any of his latest productions for years now.. |

| Haven't seen Tiesto aside from LA sports arena and Giant Maximus. I can only assume those are the best places to see him..any club will just be way too packed. glad to hear some of you liked it. pics please? |
