2009.11.25-2009.11.28 [LA] Insomniac : Tiesto North American Tour @ The Shrine (pg. 5)

So a friend of mine from Germany emailed me recently that Tiesto spun at the Zurich Street Parade in August and it was an awesome set with amazing energy, full on Trance like how his sets were back in 2002 or so...
My friend doesn't put up with weak Trance, was rightfully bored in the main room at Trance Energy this year, and likes a more progressive sound like I do. There's nothing to say that Tiesto's set at the Shrine will be anything like his set from the Street Parade, but I'm thinking about seeing him at the Shrine now that I have a recent recommendation from someone with similar tastes in music.
There's no mention anywhere what comes with a VIP ticket though...any promoters from this event have more info. on that? |

ive never seen tiesto live, and being a listener of trance, i think i need to see him at lease once. i'm sure he'll put on a great show.

This always seems to happen. Right when Tiesto is about to go on a big tour and come by our area, there's always a post like this about ome other gig he did recently where he was awesome. Reminded them of the old school Tiesto. etc etc....then they go all hyped, and come back pissed, lolz.
Can only blame Tiesto! Been burned enough by similar posts like this in the past...not gonna let him sucker me again!
He's just so inconsistent. Has been for years. And every once in awhile you hear about some great set by him, but 19 out of 20 times it's the same "what happened to him" review. |

saw him saturday in chicago, and sunday in milwaukee, chicago was by far the best i have ever seen of him......best night ever...and ive seen Tiesto over 30 times |

His set from Chicago looks amazing! Here is his set for everyone else.... His sets have been very similar throughtout this entire tour. So if you like this I'm sure LA will be nearly identical.

| I haven't heard really anything from Tiesto in about 2 years now. I have to admit I enjoyed his sets back in 05 and 07 (twice) at the sports arena and giant maximus. I recommend anyone who hasn't seen him to go.. I'm skipping out this year.. not because I don't like him.. but I'm sure it will be way too crowded and filled to capacity. |

This tracklist is not that impressive. He plays a lot of his tracks (and not even many of his best...mostly stuff off his new crap album), a few Laidback Luke tredits, and a few classics. Predictable. |

You can buy tickets through Groovetickets or Ticketmaster as well. GT being the cheapest.
