Saw him in 2005 at club ICE in Las Vegas. He came on late and played from 3:30 to 8:30 a.m.! I thoroughly enjoyed that night, the music was amazing, the crowd was so energetic and he seemed really honored and happy to be there.
I think this will be the first year I'm not going to see him in LA, though. I've heard too much about the new album already and don't think I would enjoy the music that much. Seems to me that when a DJ goes to the "top DJ in the world" according to Mixmag, they go to the next few years. I hope it doesn't happen with Armin or whoever else is next...
If the reviews from Tiesto at the Shrine are good and I see some videos with great music that I know he's capable of playing, I might come back next time... |
