I stopped reading it after that.

Us true fans (Tiesto is my ALL TIME favorite DJ) don't want to hear is "new tiesto" ... us true fans want to hear "new hot from Tiesto that reminds us of his glory day, but know we'll never get it because Tiesto wasn't the sole-man behind just about every one of his great tracks and he doesn't have the same producer or two beside him anymore, we don't think. That said, we don't care...we want some good hot , and his "new tiesto" ain't it.

:-P
to be honest, i didnt like most of the new album....some of it sounded like easy listening....but hearing it live, with the bass kicking your ass, im a fan of some of them now......dont knock it yet man....it just might be the best party ever

Sounds like you are in FAN denial, and should invest in time travel. Get with the times Bro.... things Evolve!

Can't wait till the night of the 25th.

Elements of Life >>>>>>>>>>> Kaleidoscope ... that's why I am avoiding the Shrine.

IMO, every time I've seen Tiesto outside of LA, he rocks and just lets loose! For some reason his LA sets seem to be more rehearsed and more of a theatrical show than a straight up DJ Set. I said it before, and I'll say it again, if you ever get a chance to see him in Mexico, GO!!!! Don't even think about it twice. His best sets I heard have always been there.

Mexicali... December 2008... awesome city!

True Story. The track with Sneaky Sound System is VICIOUS when it hits on a proper sound system. And I'm definitely not mad at Louder Than Boom.

I have heard Ferry Corsten Smash the Shrine while closing out with "L.E.F." The place went Bananas and sounded Amazing!

Can't wait till the night of the 25th.

A man of such discerning taste. One would never have guessed by your rigorous patronage at Club Circus. So I guess really the difference between the two is just about an extra $40 and I would have gladly donated that to you to gain some friendly company. :stongue:

The reason I love Circus so much is the laid-back atmosphere and trance/progressive DJs. I know this is why you, and others on this forum, like Circus too.

I don't get what your saying... your post seems to imply that the DJs at Circus aren't that great. If Circus had a bunch of unknown or non-trance/progressive djs, I would not be interested.

The truth is I REALLY don't like Tiesto's new album and don't have much of a desire to see him again this time in LA based on other people's experiences with The Shrine venue and Tiesto's history of inconsistent performances.

Perhaps. I haven't had much experience with songs from Kaleidoscope in a club setting.

Obviously it's just a personal preference. I much prefer the type of songs on Elements of Life than on Kaleidoscope. It was difficult for me even to get through Kaleidoscope once... but I have friends who liked it.

I'm actually a huge fan of Tiesto's songs, just not the latest album.

first 2 times thru it i still didnt like it.....then i heard a few tracks played out at clubs...and it started to change how i felt about it...it mos def is different than his other stuff, not exactly trance either......but if u were to go, i think u would find that he plays it out at a higher BPM, giving it a harder feel to it...just my opinion

I guess I'm just too much of a trance addict. :P

I'll try listening to it again at a higher bpm and see if my opinion changes.
