Jay I can respect that. I'm saying you should honor anyone who dies while serving instead of making an outcry like this. But you're wrong when you think I envision this to be a PS3 game. That is utterly ridiculous because he did have another choice plain and simple.
I'd much rather be fighting in a war i don't believe in than sitting around earning my degree, and I can assure you that. Sorry for your loss, but don't blame it on externalities.
I want you to know that I am proud of your friend and honored that he chose to serve in our alliance. |

Canada, as a signatory of the NATO charters and treaties has been attacked by terrorists once, on 9/11.
Every signed nation of NATO was attacked on that day by definition of the collective defense clauses in the treaties. |

Well he is FRENCH Canadian, maybe the French part in him ignores NATO as a defense body like France did for almost the entire Cold War. :p |

zild i should not have made a thread even...that is my fault, but i am upset because this was a great man. I'm not a great man...you can't begin to understand. The day i look for sympathy from the internet will be the day that ******* will say we pick cotton for free.
I'm hammered and venting.
At the end of the day i'm the that has to deal with his parents.

I am just trying to understand your frustration with the US when your friends loss was at the hands of a Canadian signed treaty. :conf:
Sorry for your loss, but vent your frustrations where its needed, not where it wont do any good. |
