i'm all over the place. i pretty much eat a balanced diet but i don't stress about eating pasta or bread like a lot of women i know who have to. i'll devour a pizza one night, and then make shrimp stiry fry over brown rice the next lol i definitely have salad and/or avocados on a daily basis. my favorite snack ever. in fact, i'm going to make a salad for lunch with a scoop of white albacore tuna salad on the top and italian dressing  |
That's kinda how I am, only I've gotten in that "too busy to cook" mode and started relying on fast food. So, right now, elimination of fast food entirely (outside of salads and such) is what I'm on, instead of really calorie counting. |

| monitoring my diet is essential to maximize my work out program and develop lean muscle vs plain mass. |

| I just want to be able to do fifteen pullups again (so I cannot lose much muscle in the process of losing weight). Maybe even try for twenty or thirty this time around. ;-) |

i'm pretty positive that when pat is in his 40s he's going to have cholesterol problems or something or he'll have to be in a strict diet. and we'll be that nagging couple where i'm always watching him and making sure he doesn't cheat in his diet. lol
that kid eats more fast food than anyone i know. even my fat sister. it's always for lunch and breakfast. he does some sweet doughnut with icing and a huge iced coffee with whipped cream. then mcdonalds for lunch. right now he just pulls it off because his body looks great for never working out or dieting and he thinks he is invincible right now lol |

ooh! u just reminded me about this supposed awesome meatball recipe that my roommate has from his sister. it's meatballs with some sort of sweet chili sauce and they are served with canned peaches.
i think i'm gonna try to whip something like that up tonight. wish mashed potatoes:crazy: |

yea i know. he is so ing ignorant when it comes to health jenny omg, u would want to strangle him if you heard him go on sometimes. he's all about healing naturally and doesn't believe in medication, etc... lolol i just keep ing lolling inside thinking about when i'll get to say "i told you so". |

Well I mean, there's nothing wrong at all with natural healing if you know what you're doing. That kind of healing really works best in conjunction with a lifestyle that is already dedicated to health and prevention though. So tell Pat he's doing it wrong, lol.
Mmmmmm mashed potatoes. I'ma make sweet potato fries at lunch today. I coat mine in a light spiced batter so they turn out crispy when I bake them. OM NOM NOM. |
