big win...we have so many games in hand that if we wanted to make the 2nd season this was it.
in the last 2 weeks, we beat the devils, the penguins, and the capitals...what the is going on:p
win streak? over. |
The Habs are a very strange team.
At least the NY Rangers make logical sense. We just suck :whip: :toothless |

we have so many injuries right now that it is pretty amazing that we were able to end the caps streak.
we are a very strange team...i think the habs only show up when they face big teams and take the lower ones for granted and muff games.
in the last month the habs have beaten:
the devils
the canucks
the penguins
the capitals
price sucked last night, but the habs somehow managed to do it. I'm not going to be too optimistic, but if they can start being consistent, get healthy, keep the pp among the best in the nhl (which is how we kill teams the most) and halak keeps it up we might (might is the key word here) be a tough team in the playoffs.
i didn't think the habs would make the playoffs last week, but they managed to win games i didn't think they would.
if we can close out the home and home with philly before the break with at least 2pts, we are sitting pretty...4 would just be cake.
rumour has it that the habs are looking to make a depth player acquisition before the deadline...they are going to need it.
Pouilot
Bergeron
Cammilieri are all out until march.
A Kosyn looks like he will be back soon, so that is good news.
Rangers have Lunqvist...the biggest reason they are still in the hunt. The rest of the team is just weird...Glen Sather is a horrible gm. How he has kept his job for this long amazes me. |

| habs are going full clip now...man when cammilieri comes back i think we will beat the caps in the first round if we keep playing like this:p |

| that would be my nightmare. Invariably whoever creeps into 8th usually does so as a team in form so being number 1 seed is never a good thing. However we just have to believe and see where it goes. It won't be anything short of exciting whatever happens. |

i still thing washington has the better team by far...but i would much rather play the caps than the penguins or devils. We have washington's number this year during the season...and in the second season anything can happen. We should be playing with a full and healthy squad this week for the first time all year.
DUN DUN DUN
if we beat the rangers tomorrow, i have a feeling that it will be the blow that means golf time for them in a few weeks. |

| so, it's hotting up now. My question would be Jay, do the Hamilton Coyotes have an opportunity to make a mark? Sure, they're in good form but is form enough at this time of year, or does experience count, from my recollection they have/had a very young side. |
