they sat back and claimed victory before the final buzzer.
that does not work anymore since the days that obstruction started to be called and the trap defense had to be reworked so that it did not involve the constant clutching and grabbing it used to (seriously new jersey won a few cups because they could hold better than anyone).
if you stop skating now a days, expect to be lit up. |

Not exactly NHL, but soon enough. Granlund will be first round pick in the next NHL Draft. He is just 17 years old and he is has 5th most points in finnish elite league and has now most points in his team.
Unfortunately he just made 1+1 against my own fav team.
And oh yes. Islanders got 3 points!? |

i will reserve judgment on my habs until after 20 games.
they can be awesome at times, then suck others...with so many new faces it is to be expected, but it is the old guard that is failing right now. |

anderson is the "surprise" of the year. I use quotations because he was good in florida, but because the panthers have 0 coverage or interest in them it was sort of secret. Colorado will go as far as he takes them.
Habs are awful. They have so many injuries, and there is no way this team has a shot at the playoffs. I hope they trade away guys for picks so that they can finish low and stock up on more youth. |
