So awesome sitting back and watching this storm commence. If its true about Opera security being involved, maybe their bull will finally catch up with them.
I feel pretty bad for Devin though, this is gonna be one stressful week. I'm really hoping this wasn't Liquified's fault. |

Devin hasn't even released the official press statement, so how do you go off calling liquified greedy and slamming them so fast before they even have a chance to state their side of the story ? |

Who cares about the press release? Don't you think they are working on presenting something that will make them look good? As many others have said, they are the promoters and it is their job to make sure things go well. Yeah, maybe the venue has something to do with it, but I think Liquified needs to step up and make sure things like this won't happen. Like it was said, you have to take the good with the bad. Don't take the praise and then turn your head when something goes wrong.
On the other hand, bad things always seem to happen at Tiesto shows. I won't go knowing that things won't go well. He attracts the worst people and somehow his events always turn into disasters. Two years ago was a disaster and for it to get worse shows a lack of something with the promoters. You had two years to fix the problems and they get worse? doesn't make much sense. Tiesto is a joke and honestly, I don't understand why people still line up to go through all this. |

His press release may very well take part blame. Iv'e seen Tiesto numerous times and nothing has gone wrong. |

Tiesto's been wrecking his train in Atlanta the last few years.
Why he keeps coming back in it, I'll never understand.
2006 had the sound go out 3x.
2007 had the unenthusiastic, 2.5 hour set that cost $50.
2008 had the acular track list packed into the sardine can that is Opera in the middle of the summer.
2009 had the unenthusiastic, 3.5 hour set, that cost $50 plus $20 in parking plus $20 in bribes. Oh, and in case you didn't hear, the police showed up and ruined around 750 ppl's night.
Weird thing is, I've seen him in Miami each of those years as well. His sets were fantastic down there. He hasn't had a good set in Atlanta since 2004 as far as I'm concerned. Dunno why people around here go ape for him. I guess they just see at as a good night to pop some pills and go whacky? Fair enough. Can't go wrong with EDM and pills, even if it is the conductor of Atlanta train wrecks, Tiesto. |
