he got off because of all the evidence that proved she was full of and only looking for a pay day.

when she's squeezing yer knob and necking you? Geeeeee. Seeing as how I'm (at the very least) buzzed, I don't think the "right" thing is the preponderant decision in my head. I mean, can you really blame me if I let her have her way with me? Or me have my way with her when she's telling "oh, yeah; oh, yeah; fock me, fock me, harder you ; do it harderrrr fastterrraaaaggghhh!"

lol obviously i'm not talking about that kind of situation.

let's just say you guys have a beautiful daughter one day in college and she does what a lot of college girls do, which is go to a cool party and get hammered and wakes up naked in a guy's bed not remembering anything.

it's hard to draw a line somewhere. that happens ALL the time and i bet you 90% of the time, she was slurring and completely out of it and the guy didn't give a and got off anyway. those are the kind of guys who are pieces of and deserve a rape charge.

wait a tick.

We're both hammered, right?

And hammered leads into the scenario you quoted.

Of course, it doesn't just skip from kissing to that type o' scene, but gradually descends like so. So! does that mean that I've made the bad decision, whether or not, the next morning, she cries RAPEE!!

See, I'm confused of what you're defining as the line between consenting, to not consenting; or right thing, or bad thing. Or what's proper and not proper, as far as the drunk thing goes.

unless she got slipped a mickey, no one forced her to be drinking like that. I would not be happy that is a given, but at the end of the day there is something to be said about personal responsibility for one's actions and not ditching them off on someone else to avoid them.

it could still happen, but i would like to think that i will raise my children with better values and a better sense in understanding the consequences that can come via decisions that they and only they have control over.

"the beer made me do it" is not an excuse.

you kill someone driving drunk, try and get out of responsibility using that one;)

as ty as this sounds, the father in me would, in some sense, agree with you. But, can I really, really, really blame the dude? Like, barring the emotional variable, can I realllllly blame him?

Yes, it isn't cool to do that, but it isn't okay to claim rape. Alcohol does not absolve you of responsibility imho.

People who commit crimes under the influence are still held responsible, so why wouldn't a girl who banged some guy while she was drunk?
