And quite frankly, If somebody called me out to a trance music competition of any sorts, I would throw the down any time; any place, regardless if I was an underdog, busy, swine flu...
the lack of passion for the music seen here scares me, i just hope the competition gets accepted and posted, whats more, a little motivation may carry one of these gents' productions to great heights, then we all win. |

Hey Kismet is deadmau5 aware that you've been ripping off his production style? He'd probably be pretty pissed off.
Some notes on your tracks:
- They all sound exactly the same (i.e. like they were produced by deadmau5).
- You're full of crap in claiming that you're a trained percussionist, because even a monkey on a drum kit knows that a kick and clap don't equal rhythmic complexity. Those weak little sounds you probably call hi-hats aren't worth a pinch of , either.
- There are other ways to create a build in a track besides increasing delay and/or reverb on the main melody. Don't try and argue that you know otherwise, because every one of your ty tracks uses it.
- There are other forms of melody that don't involve string plucks and 8th notes. Again, if you knew otherwise you probably would have implemented it.
- Besides being clones of deadmau5's work, your productions are the blandest, most unoriginal excuses for music I've heard this year.
Some notes on you:
- Your head is so far up your arse that you're blind to the fact that everyone is 'trolling' you because you're a douche of the highest degree who we all sincerely want to off. The only thing that sucks worse than your music is your opinions. |

His tracks are under the artist name "Daze Deten" on Beatport and sound nothing like Deadmau5. They are house / deep house. The artist "Kismet" on Beatport is not the same guy as the TA poster "Kismet7." |

Funny thing, I haven't heard the producers music he is actually dissing. And how dumb do you have to be to come in here, make statements like you've read the whole thread (which have covered the exact name of my EP), and still manage to think i'm some producer who makes 1/8th note music. jesus , just had a listen. All this time i thought he was the other guy. What ever reservations I had about him where withheld in that his assumed identity on beatport had some ok tracks but his single release as Daze Deten made me chuckle.
Unless you've been producing for a few months, I would tone the ego down. Both the mix and music were less than impressive. |

richieV can I hear some of your music by any chance? Give me a search string or two ; ). I remember you delusionally babbling (common trait amongst TA's troll committe) a while back, and I think you got really frustrated and emailed me a few times lol.
I might as well add that tracks from my 'Deeply Rooted' EP have been well received by the folks that actually matter, the DJs, charted in over 20 DJ Top 10 so far in its first month of release, and thats just what i'm aware of at the moment. Not bad for a new artist. I dont know who else out there has been charting/playing my tracks out in the shindigs of the world, while the trolls here jack themselves off into oblivion (shout out to Kerri Chandler - Oblivion.) So yah, unbiased people outside of TA are supporting my music, and thats what counts most.
