It seems to me a lot of people are getting releases, but that is absolutely not an endorsement that thier work is up to anything.

Seems I am very self crtitical as I wont put anything out until I think it can stand on it's feet.

Your tracks are very headachey.

But someone should definately hand you a timeout, before you go on a shooting rampage because you kept getting owned on a forum lol. Lame duck who has not been comprehending simple english. Still afraid of putting up your own original music in competition, and obviously a weee bit jealous. lol. Uber duper troll fail.

And, come on you're excuse for not posting original music is poor, most people make 30 or more tracks just so 10 can fit an album, you're telling me every original track you've made is making to an album and you don't have any other music that is good enough to share? uhh yah shore, go work on some new music then, and then we'll have our lil competition ;)

Sorry just got out of the studio; you know...MAKING music; not talking about it such as you do so often and ignorantly!

I want you banned because I learned a great deal of everything I have to do with production from the wonderful people on this forum. There are some great resources if you pulled your ing head out of your ass. This community is an extremely valuable place and you underestimate the intelligence as well as the number of purists and music aficionados in this thread and forum.

The Artist album won't be out until next year; I have 5 of the tracks complete for that. The one just getting finished up is a remix album/mix compilation double cd. Think Involver2 with a mixed cd as well. The remixes are all ORIGINAL remixes. What that means is I took the ideas and completely changed the tracks and stems to fit them into my sound; some are hardly even recognizable. Only 1 track even has a sound source from the original and that's because it is a guitar lead line.

To my knowledge Richie is an engineer so probably not a good guy to call out he knows more about audio on here than pretty much everyone.

Originally posted by Kismet7 I might as well add that tracks from my 'Deeply Rooted' EP have been well received by the folks that actually matter, the DJs, charted in over 20 DJ Top 10 so far in its first month of release, and thats just what i'm aware of at the moment. Not bad for a new artist. I dont know who else out there has been charting/playing my tracks out in the shindigs of the world, while the trolls here jack themselves off into oblivion (shout out to Kerri Chandler - Oblivion.) So yah, unbiased people outside of TA are supporting my music, and thats what counts most.

See there you go showing your ignorance again. The dj's don't matter for . You keep making your music for the dj's all keep making it for the fans and purists and we'll see what you say when I'm on top saying "I told you so". Among my other work tonight I started a track named Kismet; go figure! LOL I'll keep using my tendencies as a perfectionist to my advantage and you keep putting out underdeveloped music. Deal?

Since you posted it I'll give an honest review I also thought you were the kismet on Beatport.

Downtown Hustle - The vocal needs to go, plain and simple. The atmosphere could use some more reverb; the mix needs more spacing and it seems some of your sounds clash freq ranges. It also doesn't really drive me to want to keep listening; a lot of that could be the vocal tbh it's OBNOXIOUS.

Deeply Rooted - Better on the atmosphere. Again your sounds clash frequencies. The saxaphone could use some eq'ing imo and the pluck sound is extremely weird it actually deters from the good atmosphere you had. This mix needs major work.

To be honest your tracks are average. Structurally they aren't too bad but the engineering needs some work for sure.

(Remixing the same track engages the controls necessary to compare "skills")
And quite frankly, If somebody called me out to a trance music competition of any sorts, I would throw the down any time; any place, regardless if I was an underdog, busy, swine flu...

the lack of passion for the music seen here scares me, i just hope the competition gets accepted and posted, whats more, a little motivation may carry one of these gents' productions to great heights, then we all win.

Dude that's what i'm talking about! Where the is the passion for the music?! Worst case someone loses and learns something. Even the winner can learn things. That's what makes good music...learning!

He has me in disbelief that he won't accept the challenge. I am fairly opinionated on here but I am always down for a competition. We're talking about my two favorite things here; music and the drive to win!

Kismet my man why won't you do this? I've never even finished a track inside of a month and i'll put a week long time limit on this comp if you accept. There's no way you can turn that down; why wouldn't you want to embarrass one of your biggest detractors?!

Actually quite the opposite. I think that would be djRANN. I haven't really touched full on production in 5-6 years as I've been busy doing classical related stuff. I know alot about music , theory orchestration .... This is what my work looks like now.

But here is some EDM tracks including the last one I did 2001-2003 ish since kismet7 wont give it a rest. Each track is a different genre. Hopefully that satisfies his curiosity.

BIGBANG___RICHIEV-LOFI.mp3 - 16.74MB Hartrance and some house 2003

tribalmaster1.mp3 - 13.69MB techno ish trance 2002

PressureMaster-04m.mp3 - 14.10MB full on gay trance 2001

badass_trancemix.mp3 - 3.25MB hard trance ish 2001

BadAss.mp3 - 3.00MB house 2001

Heaven_mastered.mp3 - 3.84MB hardstyle ( this was my second track ever made ) 2000
DJ RANN
Easy bro, this is turning in to a two man thread bordering on self-flamebaiting. No one should be banned becuase of their opinions (at least on topic ones anyway as long as their not personally offending anyone or insighting hate crimes etc.).

Richie not an engineer - he's a composer and orchestrator in the same industry as I work in.

EDIT: DAMMIT richie, you beat me to it :D
mfitterer1
Lol I mixed the two of you up.
Nightshift
this "Pressure" track is dope Richie.

I knwo DJs who would play this out in a heartbeat
Kismet7
So basically mfitterer1 still does not have any original music worth sharing. (i've sketched out 2 new original tracks within the span of responding to trolls in this thread). And i'm willing put up any of the two into competition, instead of my more developed older pieces. So mfitterer1 you have it as easy as its going to get, so stop hiding ;)

And RichieV hasnt made any EDM in over 5 years, yet he trolls EDM producers on an EDM forum? And to think someone who orchestrates music would have some class, moonlighting troll fer sure.

the sad part is that my 8 year old tracks sound more innovative and modern and the mix is alot better than your recent excuse for music. And I come on here because i still like trance and I currently have free time. I didn't realize there was a prerequisite to be a member. What I do know is that i've been here longer than you so maybe you should stop being such a dick.

The problem isn't that you suck. It is that you think you are the trance messiah or something. similar.

Everyone should just post their music in this thread if you guys are going to throw out reviews, especially the full time low life trolls ;). I mean if your going to sit here and diss my music and this being a Production forum, lets see some of your music at least.

1. The arguments against you no longer have to do with your music, they have to do with your shocking personality and incredible ignorance.

2. No one is 'trolling' you. Users who are otherwise placid are trying to put you back in your place.

3. I think you are a troll/alt yourself. No one could really be so dumb.

4. Why do you have the same TA username as a guy who releases tracks on beatport under 'Kismet'? It's not exactly a common name like 'Dave G' or 'Hypnosis' or something.
