Dolphin meat is all about some old backward idiots claiming it's part of "Japanese culture" blah, blah, blah, and still imagining they're in the 1950's, and wanting to push it into the kids Junior High School lunch boxes.
Frankly, anyone who wants to eat mercury-laden meat deserves everything they get. |

That's really the main issue. It seems as though dolphin meat is simply cheaper to acquire.
Being a species that is NOT endangered, the toxic levels of mercury (to humans) in their meat is a far greater concern imo. |
