| well it happened... i got FACED at vessel thursday night/morning to the point of still being exhausted by friday night, was too exhausted to get up for svd in spite of my comp and slept in, so now my batteries are charged up for mike, adnan & j00f... yeeea boy! |

correct me if i'm wrong, but when i first met you, wasn't that the type of praise you were giving only to CL? LOL
I thought we once had to talk you into giving JOOF a fair chance!! Nothing will ever top that night at Vanguard with CL & JOOF. That was still to this day the best I've seen John play.
Its a shame that it isn't easy enough for promoters to be able to work together to benefit both club goers and themselves and not let nights like this happens. It doesn't work out well for anybody having the two play on the same night, clubs pulling from the same crowd and fans deciding between the two.
In the end though, you gotta be at 1015 for JOOF tonight. CL will be back soon enough. |

Yeah its a pretty nonsensical booking for whoever booked the 2nd one. There are only 2 really big trance/psy guys and to get them both in the same city on the same night is ludicrous.
Either way, i'm going to J00F. Should be a good night. |

clearly you weren't around for j00f's 5.5 hour sets at 1015 back in 2004...umm yea!      |

I saw many of his 4 hr sets at circus during the old spundae hayday from 2002-2006. And I never thought it could get any better than that. But seriously, 2 hrs of CL playing heavy tech trance, topped with 2 hrs of JOOF on that Vanguard Funktion 1 was in insane. I cant remember seeing Vanguard that packed at 4:01 am for somebody not called tiesto or armin |

+1 that was still to date my favorite JOOF set ever!!!! that was such a magical night, the only thing that sucked was that john only got to spin for 2 hours. even the bouncers were asking about certain tracks that john was dropping. watching the packed crowd go insane the whole time and like josh said up till 4:01 am, begging for more and seeing john get the love and respect he so deserves was so great! damnit, i wish i were up there with you guys tonight.

It was on January 1, 2005. Ferry played NYE at 1015 the night before (of which I blacked out ;p).
That was the ebst J00F party ever bar none I've experienced. One of the best nights ever at 1015 for me.
I have pics of it somewhere. I'll post later. :) |
