I'd say J00F's essential mix would be some evidence for the jury to consider. Probably the first "proper" trance mix to air on Radio 1 for several years.
I am noticing more trance events around at the moment, but in the best possible sense, there isn't enough snobbery about them. They seem to be populated by undiscerning working class pill heads, which means could get too Narnia at any point.

Personally, I kind of like the fact that it's happening slowly which could mean that when it comes back, it will have a little more staying power.

I really just want to see more of a resurgence of the dark, spacey, progressive sound in general. I know there's still stuff like it being made... maybe I'm just being too picky.

there has definately been a shift in the force.
PLayed a gig a month ago at a night i run at a little club down here - had this late 20's early 30's pommie guy kept coming up to me screaming "trance, trance, its ing trance and its real!" lolzors. It really does bring out happiness in the few that have a major passion for it.
there are enough solid tunes coming out now that allow you to do more than just play a nice prog trance set - there are now enough good ones to build your own prog trance style
slowly slowly.
