It would definitely be nice to see Sasha back in good form. I haven't really enjoyed his sets for quite a few years now. Old Sasha FTW.
Someone try and get hold of a recording? |

yep yep it was a night full of classics.
however, that party was intended for it to be "old school".;) |

It's funny though - Everyone has been raving about the last couple of gigs he played (on CDJs). I wonder if he'll just go back to being mediocre once the maven is fixed up, or if he might take a bit of notice? |

| I dunno...I don't think it makes much difference as far as he is concerned. He's basically just burning playlists of all the stuff he usually plays anyway so I don't think the music is that much different. |

But it sounds like the stuff he's been playing in the last couple of weeks has been quite different to the techy stuff he's been doing for the last year or so, hence the "this was awesome" reaction from people.
I'd like to think he's changing his sound a bit, but who knows. I just miss the old Sasha :p |

cdj2000's = no burning
its different man - i havent kept too much track of tunes hes been playing cos it all got a bit boring imo - but his fanboys around australia have all posted like - "forget all his recent downloadable livesets - its totally different" etc.
i think the re-release of xpander may have changed his views a little.
it sure didnt sound like generic tech house to me :-) |
