saw him last night in Beijing. First hour and a half was pretty fluffy. Not a ton of tech sounds throughout the night, can only remember a couple.
Played a rad remix of 'hey boy, hey girl' and a mix of 'Xpander' that was OK. Ended the night with 'timing'.

Sasha was pretty amazing at Monster Massive in LA imo. The druggies do love the tech trance (somehow the sound just reminds me of a meth lab).
But I agree, Sasha needs to escape this mid-life crisis of his and go back to his roots.
nsamadi
He's playing some monstrous tunes these days. :eyes:
RapidFire
thats what im talkin about. enough of this "less is more" approach to prog. bring on the full melodies and grooves :D
darkdoze
I haven't heard Sasha play a decent set in years. His music was so boring the last time I heard him play that I nearly cried. It was that bad.
It would take more than this thread to get me believing in Sasha again, I've well and truly lost the faith.

Sasha is moving back to the sound he helped popularize?
Good! :disbelief And about ****** time!
Oldschool Sasha!
Helping me what? :stongue:
You are clueless.
You're just some delusional internet psychopath with a sad existence straining to find an outlet for your frustration on a random message board.
At this point, this forum is no more than voices inside your head playing out the narrative you've already decided on. Reality went out the window a long time ago.
Like I told you a while ago, I hope you find things in life that make you happy and enjoy your existence because right now it really seems like you're having a tough time.
Max Thomson
did you reach for teh lazers?
Nostalgic
Doesn't sound like he's playing any "trance", but just more melodic, big room prog. But it's a start nonetheless.

No, it's trance. Just not the unicorn kind.

"Internet psychopaths!" I think those are people who kill the Internetz and stuff. A couple Internet psychopaths tried to murder the TA servers the other day, but, fear not, I scared them away. ;)

Thank you very much for your kind and generous response. I can assure you that I am in the process of saving your advise in my memo as I write this. Enjoying my existence is one of my top priorities so needless to say any advise from a mnml tech DJ on how to go about doing that shall be taken very very seriously, particularly in cases involving:
1) Internet psychopaths
2) Outlets for your frustration
3) Reality
4) ''A window.''
