On Friday March 20th, Core NYC is extremely excited to bring you Rekids label head, RADIO SLAVE. A highly acclaimed producer, Radio Slave's unique blend of house and techno has found its place into the record bags of an astonishingly wide range of DJs. Tracks like Bell Clap Dance and Grindhouse have helped define many a DJ set, and continually rock dancefloors around the world. He has also remixed some of the biggest names in EDM, including Sasha, UNKLE, Trentemoller, and Danny Tenaglia. Warming things up for Radio Slave will be Core's own Frank Chiarello, who will be joined by Sullivan Room favorite DJ Fame, and illich Mujica of Techtonics.

On Friday the 13th we bring you the long awaited NYC debut of Nick Curly, the man behind the famous Cecille and 8 Bit record labels which has launched the careers of SIS, Markus Fix, Johnny D, Robert Dietz, Lemos and Kreon. The Mannheim sound has been in our record boxes for a while now, and Nick Curly's record labels are in almost every DJ's bag, from Ricardo Villalobos to Luciano, Onur Ozer to Matthias Kaden and the list goes on. After hearing from all his peers (Markus Fix, Johnny D, Sascha Dive) that we brought to play our Blk|market Membership party, all have said that Nick Curly is the one to watch.
Also to add on the bill is Simon Baker, label boss of Infant Records based out of Leeds in the UK. His label has showcased his gang of cool, such as artists like Jamie Jones, Burnski, Anthony Collins, Paul Woolford and Sian. Simon Baker caught our attention after we saw him make his way onto the Cocoon Compilation 'U', Playhouse, Steve Lawler's Viva imprint, Matt Tolfrey's Leftroom imprint and not to mention Connaisseur records as well. He is another one to watch out for this year in our eyes.
Last but not least, we bring you one of rhythmism's favorites, leks the imposter doing opening duties for the night.

He's not playing Rebel on April 4th. Mr. C and Adultnapper are playing that night.

In any case, glad to have found out about Tiefschwarz ad the end of this month and Gui Boratto w/Ellen Allien @ Studio B. Hopefully it stays open 'till then :p [/QUOTE]
Sounds like a good time! Went record shopping and had to pick up some classic Goratto vinyl... And I laugh at the truth of the life expectancy of studio b's reopening MUHAHAHA
:p
