yeah I think we can agree that there is good music in here among the trite. BT just needs to adopt the mentality of quality > quantity. I'll be purchasing it as well, and making my own album out of it.

This is grotesque. If Tiesto had released this album, we'd be laughing.

We were laughing.

Come on now...

Actually, even though THM has less tracks than Kaleidoscope, I still like it better than Tiesto's effort. That album wasn't good at all. After listening to THM all day, some more of the tracks have grown on me. Whereas, with Tiesto's album, I'm still scratching my head.

I'm not at all saying that THM is God's gift or something, but the album is not bad.. just not up to potential.

No, it's bad.

Yer I had a full listen (except for Unbreakable, had to skip that one as it was too unbearable). Simply put, this is from BT. Only a couple of tracks were listenable for me, nothing stood out as a track that I enjoyed and wanted to keep going back to. :(

there is a truth to this. I would not give this album a second gander had it been made by somebody else... but since its BT and I love his past work, I gave it a chance and warmed up to parts of it, while absolutely detesting others.

at the end of the day its all about listening to what makes you happy. will I go out and tell everyone about how great it is? no but I'll get a kick out a few guilty pleasure tracks here and there (wether they've been influenced by my bias or not).

I also realize how absolutely hypocritical that is because I'm the first one to bash Tiesto for his cheesy crap...but hey we're all human :p
Light The Fuse
its poo.

Rose of Jericho and Le Nocturne de Lumiere were the highlights for me. And Every Other Way is good.

The rest is totally not my thing. Shame, because his past efforts have been so marvelous at times. Even ET blows this out of the water imo.

{Tiesto's Kaleidescope was horrendous in totality but I thought Bend It Like You Don't Care/Surrounded By Light (Extended Versions) were the only decent tracks. }

Anything is better than ET and yes, even this is, by some degree. ;D That represented the absolute bottoming out of his career...IMO. ;)

On second and third listens...

I've come around on the album.

Not his greatest work...but i'd rate it 7/10. My love still goes out to MISL. And it's pretty tough to live up to something once the bar has been put so high already.
