I like George Clooney. I think he does a good job. I haven't seen him have to try all that hard with any roles, but I think he comes across well in the movies I've caught him in. Up in the Air is one of my fav's of '09.
I think I'm one of the only people that didn't like The Departed.

I really like Clooney, especially in From Dusk Till Dawn. Watched it last night again and the Clooney sais is hilarious sometimes.
BTW WD40 sparyed on your key and some twisting left and right works like a charm! The car is unlocked and warming up!:gsmile:

Yeah, I noticed that I can't delete posts in this forum, but in others I can. I wonder if that's intentional, and if so can it be changed?

That i know i think "The Departed" covers elements of all three "infernal affairs" movies, but i cant confirm since i havent seen The Departed and say this based on what people told me as i held my ground of "asian original versions is da sh*t". I'd compare it to "watching star trek movies vs watching star trek the serie". You can watch star trek movies without being a "trekkie". If you are the "trekkie" type, watch the entire serie first as the asian serie goes into details, work the historic, lets the characters develop and even change, and i think the three of them cover a crap load of years. I have trouble thinking that "The Departed" went into details as deeply, although im sure Scorcese and his team insured that the necessary stuff was there. Maybe it'd be best for "MediumCoke" to answer you hehe, my two cents on this subject.
man it's been so long ago that I've seen Infernal Affairs 1, 2, 3, I can't really remember hehe. But I'll tell you something about HK movies. They'll go into such depth in terms of character development, it blows my mind. I mean, they'll make sequels and a part 3 and a part 4 to further explore characters and their pasts. 10 years ago, I'd say this is a waste of resources and they shouldn't have made those movies. Fast track to today, I think it's genius! These days, nothing gets me more into a movie than the amount of detail and effort that is put into it.

You're right. It's nothing the average HK movie fan hasn't seen before but later installments of Young & Dangerous explore interesting social issues that were relevant at the time of their release like HK's delivery to Mainland China, corruption in Taiwanese politics. That character "Chicken" flees to Taiwan, they explore his adventures in Taiwan in one of the Y&D. That's the kind of detail I was talking about. It just riles me up big time.

Mine is vampire Salma Hayek says: Welcome to slavery and George Clooney replies "No thanks, I already have a wife." HAHAHA Another moment of Robert Rodriguez gold is in Planet Terror when they finally give El Wray guns akimbo...damn funny moment
BTW, The Road = in wow :eyespop:
Keep your eyes open for The Crazies coming out soon, the remake of the George A. Romero classic.

Finished Young And Dangerous 3 last night. Not as good as the first two but I think ill finish the series anyway. Number 3 was funny as hell because the bad guy was a chinese guy from Holland that looks/talks/acts exactly like Bruno. :wtf:
