You can also look into the porno remake "Internal Affairs".
Here's a list of Asian movies that really got to me.
South Korea
Old Boy
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance
Bittersweet Life
Peppermint Candy
Rikidozan
Breathless
Jail Breakers
Public Enemy (trilogy)
Princess Aurora
Hong Kong
Anything bearing the Shaw Brothers logo (36 Chambers of Shaolin, Return to the 36 Chambers of Shaolin, Heroes of the East, Dirty Ho, The Five Deadly Venoms, 8 Diagram Pole Fighter, Executioners of Shaolin)
Anything John Woo + Chow Yun Fat
A Better Tomorrow (trilogy)
The Killer
Hard Boiled
Fong Sai Yuk 1+2
Japan
Deadly Outlaw Rekka
Ichi The Killer
Rashomon
Brothers (reminded me of Ghost Dog for some reason)
I really liked "Three Extremes", which is 3 different horror stories from 3 different directors deemed horror masters in their native lands (one from HK, one from Japan and one from South Korea).
There's a movie I saw a long time ago called "The Bodyguard" from Thailand. Good watch, it's damn funny. Also from Thailand, the original Shutter and Art of the Devil 2.
I could go on forever...movies are kind of my thing.
Well with the title of the movie, i was thinking of that too.im guessing they didnt even change the title for the porn remake. Three way between cops and mafia takes a whole other meaning in porn i guess. Wonder who gets "shot" in the porn....
Ichi the killer: i stopped after 30 mins, i didnt see the point, it was like watching a CIA mix tape, i guess its a love it or absolutely hate it movie.
Thumbs up for Hard Boiled. Fong Sai Yuk aka Once upon a time in China?

Umm not quite, Fong Sai Yuk is different from Once Upon A Time. FSY is more comedic than Once Upon A Time. Def worth a marathon watching. I forgot to mention Young & Dangerous 1-6.

Young and Dangerous is HK-made. Oh shiite, I just thought of more azn movies. Last Dance from Singapore and Neighbor No.13 from Japan

Yes! Red Cliff 1 and 2 are great. I saw Red Cliff 2 in theaters in Shanghai, great experience. Shinjuku Incident is great. I was hesitant to bring it up because of the one sided Chinese point of view on the Japanese. Bon...tant pis

Asian films are my least favorite, I just get never into them.
I think it has to do with the forced annoying one liners.

I don't get what you mean by forced annoying one liners

Arnold is the master at the one liners, i find them personally entertaining because they're freaking cheesy
