Bingo!

You have to watch the trilogy (Korean trilogy on "Vengeance) then:

Sympathy for Mr.Vengeance (this one's so-so)
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance

Asians are pretty good at twisted stuff, if you guys liked The Departed, check out the asian serie of movies that triggered it:

Infernal Affairs 1-2-3

You can also look into the porno remake "Internal Affairs".

Here's a list of Asian movies that really got to me.

South Korea
Old Boy
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance
Bittersweet Life
Peppermint Candy
Rikidozan
Breathless
Jail Breakers
Public Enemy (trilogy)
Princess Aurora

Hong Kong
Anything bearing the Shaw Brothers logo (36 Chambers of Shaolin, Return to the 36 Chambers of Shaolin, Heroes of the East, Dirty Ho, The Five Deadly Venoms, 8 Diagram Pole Fighter, Executioners of Shaolin)
Anything John Woo + Chow Yun Fat
A Better Tomorrow (trilogy)
The Killer
Hard Boiled
Fong Sai Yuk 1+2

Japan
Deadly Outlaw Rekka
Ichi The Killer
Rashomon
Brothers (reminded me of Ghost Dog for some reason)

I really liked "Three Extremes", which is 3 different horror stories from 3 different directors deemed horror masters in their native lands (one from HK, one from Japan and one from South Korea).

There's a movie I saw a long time ago called "The Bodyguard" from Thailand. Good watch, it's damn funny. Also from Thailand, the original Shutter and Art of the Devil 2.

I could go on forever...movies are kind of my thing.
