you're all on crack

Why do you care so much? I'm not trying to change your mind or say you're wrong. I wouldn't want to take anyone's enjoyment away from them, not that I could.

agreed. Up in the air had more substance. With that being said this was a blockbuster hit and blockbuster hits arent about sending a new message, or creating a new concept that will philosophically mind you. Blockbuster hits entertain, and thats exactly what this movie did for 2.5 hours. every moment, every inch of it was entertaining. Accept the movie for what it is, entertainment. and for the style of movie it was i will give it a 10/10, the ultimate blockbuster hit

I rarely look for a "mind " in movies. Just a decent storyline. Why does everyone jump to the extreme and assume people complaining about it wanted a Memento style plot? Of course this was meant to be primarily visual. It's like 300 in that sense (another blockbuster with no storyline, which was great for what it was). I for one am not saying it was garbage by any means. Let's just call a spade a spade.

As for Up in the Air, I loved it. All around quality in my book.

lol some people over analyze these kinds of movies wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy tooo much!

Avatar's purpose is not to have an amazing story line jeez...

The movie is designed for the ultimate 3D virtual experience that takes you into a dream world.

Just put on the 3D glasses, zone out, shut the up and enjoy the out of this world experience!

Yup!

I've had it playing non-stop (day and night) in my room since I bought it at HMV on Boxing Day.

Have 2 copies made, 1 for my car and 1 for work.

James Horner did a brilliant job on this score! It's lovely and amazing. :)

Highly recommend it.
