It will be impossible to understand why Raul did what he did, but IMO if his family and his closest friends do not wish to reveal the reason, by all means...please respect their wishes.
I know that if I had a relative or close friend who committed suicide, I would keep the reason for their death a secret. Some things are not meant to be made common knowledge. |

I miss him ... I think i was acting like a weirdo last night checking my inbox every five minutes waiting for him to send me the anti- holidays email as we always did all these years..
You should feel better people because you actually had the chance to go there... Imagine how this will be for the rest people like me who were not able to attend there :( |

yeah I wished I could go as well. In March when I'm in Florida, I will def go to his resting place, to honor him and say goodbye. |

Spending time with his family was tough but also very rewarding...they are such warm & inviting people - they truly loved him as many of us did <3
His families wishes were to celebrate his life & remember to appreciate our own.
The love many of us have for him speaks volumes on the person he was.
When I get sad I will just think of the good times we shared with all the laugh & smiles. I know I will never, ever forget him. |

i'm really sad to have heard about this. victor saw the thread and told me about it the other day. i didnt have the heart to read it until now. and i cant even bear to read past the first page.
DA is one of the first FLTAs I got to really know on a personal level when i moved to SoFL. he immediately brought me into the group and welcomed me, and i loved that he was so passionate about music like i was. i cant even count how many nights at Blue we sat on that damned couch and just talked about music. all the fun times at space and how many people he introduced me to. and then, what i remember the best are our epic adventures down to homestead in the middle of the night on our way to break into some abandoned asylum in the middle of a swamp surrounded by alligators, freaking out lol. he introduced me to 2 of his best friends that night and just the trip down there alone was something i'll always remember.
The first word that popped into my head when I heard about this was "Brairwave". That song will always make me think of him. I lost touch with most of the FLTA's when i left Florida in 2008, and I'm sad that he had to be one of them. I need to be better about staying in touch with the people that matter. I know he was only close to me for a measely 3 years, so I really feel for those of you, like melly and lis who knew him longer.... i feel like it was always the same group of us together at Blue... i have some great pics on my facebook under the album "FLTAs" if anyone wants to see some great pics of him.
Rest in peace, DA. You will be remembered and missed by a lot of people. |

I remember that day as well even that i was not there but DA had wrote me in the email about this aww!
I remember as well that DA and I shared the same account in photobucket and I notice today there is an album with the name of ''Asylum'' which it has pictures from that day!Not sure if they are the same as yours but if you want them let me know |
