I've been away from TA for quite some time, but some of you might know me. I just wanted to pay my respects in this thread. I never knew DA in real life, but he was a regular in the COR and he was always a character.
We had some great posts and banter in the COR. It's a shame I never was able to meet him.
FLTA's, I'm sorry for your loss. DA will truly be missed. |

well it is a bit ironic how many times i have notice facebook to suggest me writing in his wall and every single time i get depressed seeing it because i cant this time!
i know it sounds a bit cheesy but i wanted to point out this how a simple silly line can make you sad
edit : for some personal reason i was avoinding to check out this topic but.. just wanted to express that no matter how biatch i am going to sound i am glad the note he tried to wrote down and to send to his friends didnt worked out because I am pretty sure i will keep reading it and tortune it my self if i was a really good friend to him as he was to me |

| I was out of the loop for quite some time...involved in my own life and a lot of my own problems..... But DA was always such a good friend to me. He sent me tons and tons of CD's. I know he was in a lot of pain over his friend dying years earlier. I can not believe not for a moment that he is gone. I will always be your Queen and you will always be my King, DA. love you Raul. |

I keep thinking back to the last time he texted me. I wish I could zap it back into my phone. Read it again.
We used to spend hours on the phone. He would play music for me in the bknd..mailed me so many Cd's. I have a full picture CD that he sent me..
He always tried to make me feel included and invited me to the TA BBQ's he said they were his favorite but I never made it down for those and now all I can do is sit here with regret. I never felt included, always trapped in my own freaking little world.
I have a lot of problems with depression and he would always help me, and yes there were times that I pulled back because I had to try to fix myself.
I can't believe that I wont get the text this year about the BBQ or a New Song. But you will always live on in your CD's |

i just found out about this and am very sad to hear what happened. DA was a great friend and i'll remember all the times we shared. i recently moved and was throwing lots of stuff away and came across a VCR tape he made of the trip to orlando in 2004, i almost threw it out, but kept it to remember the times. if anyone can convert this to digital, i'll send it your way.. i dont have a vcr anymore.
i recently lost my dad in november to a fatal car accident and understand what it feels like to lose someone close... i wish the best for everyone and i know that Raul wouldnt want us to be so sad about it, he always wanted everyone to be very happy... |

He was the first person I text when I saw Ferry @ Electric Zoo this year.
I then told him it was being broadcast live online so he went and listened to the set :D
